If my dog wore pants, they would be soiled. He does not get along with the thunder. He just shakes and pants uncontrollably.

I think lightning hit a transformer here in Bankview, HUGE thunder and the power went off all over my block, still out. Car alarms all over the neighborhood were going off, crazy.

This UPS and laptop deal is pretty nice, hehe.

Nothing here in High River.

Did get caught in a nasty downpour in Okotoks an hour a go.

Hearing tons of sirens downtown, just heard that Macleod and Glenmore is flooded along with a bunch of side roads behind Macleod Trail.

Phoned my aunt who lives in Lakeview and said they were getting torrential rain.

Stood on my deck and saw the nasty storm cloud to the north. Black as night and ugly!

Hope no one gets any flooding.

Crazy rain up here too, and a tiny amount of hail. Can't tell if the lightning is from all sides or not, but because I can see out of my house both north and south, let's assume it is.

The dogs are more concerned about getting fed than they are the storm, although one of them is panting pretty hard right now.

Sucks to be a smoker right now, I don't smoke in my house and the rain is pelting my south facing front door...I know, I know, no sympathy from the folks on CP.

Edit: Atleast I have my PVR so I could watch TV if I chose. With this storm, I'd rather have the TV off though.

I live in a cul-de-sac in Falconridge, and there are about 5 extra cars out there right now waiting out the storm...

Loudest thunder I've ever heard and lightning like I've never seen right now in Varsity. My gutters can't handle the amount of rain...

I am in Country Hills and the lighting seems to right out of my back yard. Seems really close.

Sump pumps are usually triggered by a float, so they go on when there's water in them.

Man, looks like I missed the worst of it in Chestermere I love storms.
