Drumheller, Rockies, Old Quebec City, Stanley Cup, Northern Lights, Niagra Falls,
I would have voted Great Lakes if that was an option.

Based on their 52 finalists, my selections are (in no order):
Bay of Fundy
Niagara Falls
Northern Lights
Prairie skies
The Rocky Mountains
Rideau Canal
Confederation Bridge

I have only skimmed the list, but I would likely give the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton (Nova Scotia) a vote. It is absolutely stunning beyond belief.

Meh.
The one section they show on all the Nova Scotia tourism ads is stunning beyond belief. The rest of the trail is rather boring.

Hey, kick ass! The crooked trees in Saskatchewan made the cut! Completely obscure little grove of trees with no marking signs or anything until a couple years ago. My inlaws took me there a few years ago, and we got very lost on back-roads trying to find it. Very breathtaking to be there, in a quiet, meditative way.
I've been to / experienced 31 of the wonders. Most of the ones I haven't been to are in the north or Newfoundland.

Well perhaps to an extent March. But there are some quite nice sections spotted throughout...

My votes:
Stanley Cup
The Rockies
Rideau Canal
Northern Lights
Drumheller
Niagara Falls
Wreck Beach
Where's West Edmonton Mall?
But seriously, where's Stanley Park? I donno, I thought the votes for No.5 Road in Richmond were pretty hilarious since I'm from there...

Hey now, I'm not saying there's anything better in NB, but I find the Cabot Trail as a whole is highly over-rated. There's that one really beautiful section along the coast that you see all the time in tourism ads, but the rest of it really is nothing special.

I'm only joking around. Have you ever gone exploring the hiking trails on the Cabot Trail? I'd never leave if I didn't have to, best way to spend a summer day IMO

That's a pretty cool list actually. I have been to a lot of those and feel quite lucky to be able to say that!
I don't know about the Trans-Canada Hwy being ranked as a "wonder" though. You just wonder whether your car will make it through Saskatchewan, thats all.

As far as I am concerned, this is a dumb CBC list to vote for. Mum's house is on there, QuAppelle valley in Saskatchewan is not?

I really think "The Rockies" is too broad. You might as well make your seven wonders of Canada: the Rockies, the Prairies, the Coast, the Shield, the Tundra, etc. and cover everything. I would say that the Inkpots of Johnson's canyon deserve to be there, but Exshaw Creek does not, despite both being in the Rockies. Even though Exshaw Creek is nice and the Inkpots are too touristy.

Am I the only one that thinks some of those options are pretty terrible to be considered wonders? I mean 'the Montreal bagel', 'Wreck Beach', 'the canoe'. Seriously, how uninteresting would Canada have to be in order to consider those wonders of the second largest country in the world?
