Default Song Identification

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g16u3GosOH8

Saw this rerun of House last night and I was intrigued by the tune he played on his guitar. I've searched high and low but cannot seem to find which song it is.

Anyone have a clue?

It might be an original.

Hugh Laurie is an extremely talented musician.

That was a great episode....the realization that Tritter isn't going away easily...I enjoyed watching it again.

You know, I've tried to figure that one out myself. I can play the first bit but can't figure out the right chords.

It's a just a few bluesey notes (part of the riff sounds like it's from Wish you Were here) and three chords, he probably made it up. Hugh Laurie is great on piano and guitar.

Hugh Laurie is talented period. He's one of the funniest guys around. You'd never know it from House, but his work in Britian is brilliant.

Very nice guess, it's close but I don't think its Pearl Jam. I think it's just Hugh playing a few chords on his own.

I'm guessing Hugh is just jamming. It's a very simple little riff with a bend. I just can't find the exactly chords he uses.

Hugh isn't bad on guitar but he's amazing on Piano. Absolutely unbelievably amazing.

Hence the "sounds like".

Sounds a bit like Hendrix's acoustic intro on Hey Baby, although it's not that either.

Blackadder remains one of my all time favourite comedies. Laurie's Prince Regent is such a hoot. George from Blackadder goes forth is up there too. He's just an immensely talented individual.
