Default Nunavut Log Book - My Adventures!

If anyone is interested, you can read up on my Nunavut experience in the log I am keeping. I have had some great feedback on it and would be more than happy to get some here as well.

I am teaching grade 7 and 8 until June!

Everytime I do a new entry I will post that I have here so that anyone who is interested can check it out. I already know of a few people on calpuck who read it so this is for their benifit as well.

I hope you enjoy!

Be careful not wearing sun glasses out in that bright. You go snowblind for hours. I'm sure you know though, but it looked like you were not wearing any.

I'd love to see some establishing shots of the hamlet you're in, if you happen to have em

I love small towns, and small northern towns are so neat to me.

Have any of you guys been to Sachs Harbour, NWT?

Have to head up there for work next month, just for a week but I'm hoping not to miss any games. God willing there is someplace up there with Satellite TV.

And where is Chester, NT? Can't find it on Google Maps.

Wow, Sach's Harbour is way up there.

Could Chester refer to Chesterfield Inlet?

Ahh, that must be it!

Yeah, Sachs Harbour is pretty desolate, I'm going to push the trip back to the last week of May so I won't miss too much hockey. With 114 people in the place I'm not so if anyone had a dish, or if a dish can even get a sightline on any satellites. Hahahaha!

Chesterfield Inlet. 300 or so people here but almost everyone has a dish. I am willing to bet you can get one in Sachs Harbour as well. We even have wireless high speed internet! I wasn't exactly expecting that so you might be surprised what that community will offer you.
