Pending league approval the Jets have acquired forward Shane Doan and defenceman Mathieu Dandenault from the Thrashers in exchange for Andrew Brunette and Jim Vandermeer. Draft picks also changed teams in the trade.
GM Walsh wasn't available for a press conference but did that the Jets have added a very good scorer and all around player in Shane Doan.
Shane Doan is coming home!
