Flames and Panthers strike a deal.

The Calgary Flames have sent centre Brendan Morrison and utility defenceman Steve Montador to the Florida Panthers.
In return the Flames get their much needed winger in Glen Murray.
Flames were looking for a scoring winger and it seems we finally got our man.
we are happy to have Murray back in the fold.

New or old, I don't think it makes much of a difference for GM's. The key is those teams now have more active GM's. So far from what I've seen in my limited time lately, these new guys are around quite a bit and are all fairly active. Congrats to them. Consistant active management for the most part will generally produce good results. It's guys who are binge than famine who tend to have sporatic results.

Mezsaros is too young (CPHL age 20) to legally go to clubs in the state of Florida! I think the Florida GM should be arrested for contributing to the deliquency of a minor. And tattoos? Did you ask his mother first? I bet she said no way!

Meszaros was definitely better off in Chicago.
