i've always held the belief of never buying a 1st year model of any vehicle. the amount of problems you see reported for a newly released model compared to the same vehicle one year later is staggering

true, but you do lose a good chunk of the "cool" factor if you buy a car a few years down the line of its production. Im not saying it's worth it, but considering how much people love cars, lot's of people are willing to pay down the line to be the first on the block now.

this doesn't have to be a buyers thread; just something to drool over

I agree. For most models it's best to wait a few years before they get all the bugs worked out. North American moels seem to be the ones that have the most defects.

I wonder if the G37 will be the same pricing as the G35 currently is?

The Honda Accord will have it's redesign later on this year.

The 4 door 2003-2007 version of this car has to be the ugliest Accord in history.

this should be the new one.

it's a bit overstyled in areas (i prefer clean lines to the tacked on feel of most cars today), but atleast it has some personality I guess.

many new vehicles shown here; nothing really stands out - looks like it's going to be a dull year for new cars

I think the first one is the new Nissan altima coupe. and the 2nd one is the accord concept. If the actual coupe does look like that then Honda gets a 2nd strike! that is butt ugly!

The new civic redesign was awesome.

Are you guys kidding about the Accord being ugly? One thing most of the Japanese "ricerocket" cars have been lacking severly is some serious balls (muscle) design. I'm no fan of ricerockets, but if I designed that coupe, I'd be proud to put my name on it. It's a lot like the Infinity G35, but almost like an exaggerated next generation. I like it.

One more thing to mention, I like seeing some of these spyshots of new cars and whatnot as much as anyone, but in the past year or so, I've seen some cars released where everything looks great, but what's with the fugly rear lights and rear ends? I think the new Chrysler Sebring is a prime example. The car looks absolutely great, but it's ruined by the 1994-esq Saturn rear design. Terrible and it pisses me off that a team of twits would approve of such ugliness.

Yup.

Not to mention that the front light cluster on the concept car appears to be trying to copy the current BMW 3 series...

I agree. I think it looks quite nice and the first thing that came to my mind was the G35 comparison as well.

that's a nice shot; the back side needs some work, but I agree it's a step up from the 7th generation accord

here's a sight with some high res pictures of the new coupe

I like how the new Accord's front end looks. It looks mean and agressive. The back, however, is kinda ugly I'll agree.
