Default Crutches?

So it's been a couple years and my ankle has since healed, but I still have these damn crutches cluttering up my closet.

Can I bring them back to the hospital? Bring them to a MediCenter? Maybe donate them to the Mustard Seed?

What's the best way to get rid of these?

Hahahahaha, nice!!

Anyways, yeah the Salvation Army is a good idea. I'll give them a call and see if they'll take them.

The thing is, I can't see anyone breaking a leg and then leaving the hospital to hobble down to the Salvation Army.

what exactly did you do to your ankle? i fractured mine when i was on vacation in the Dominican (free booze + dark night + very sharp curb = ouch) and was able to hobble along with only an elastic bandage. as bad as mine hurt, i'd hate to think how bad you'd have to screw it up to require crutches

My guess would be to take them to the hospital or even a walk in clinic.

I remember when i fractured my shin bone right at the base of my left ankle it was so bad that my ankle was the size of a Cantaloupe.I had to rent my crutches from the local drugstore well 25 dollars later and 8 weeks in a cast all i had to do was take them back.

Nah, Edmonton doesn't even have a leg to stand on. They need a wheelchair.

My ankle was twisted and swollen pretty bad, but technically it was a bone in my foot that was fractured. Found a picture on google, it was the talus that got it just like in the diagram. Stairs and a cement floor. It actually worked out alright, I was putting in a lot of hours at work while full time at school and starting to burn out. I finished up and got my degree while stuck at my desk and walking with the crutches.

You know, that's makes the most sense, I'll call them up. Just hoping to save some guy a bit of money, or the system at least.
