Northmount Drive @ Cherokee Drive NW - Sinkhole In Road
I drove by here on my way home for work. HUGE hole in the road, looks like the pavement just fell away from the surface. I couldn't see the bottom of it. Thankfully it was a bit off to the side of the road so I don't think it will be a big traffic impediment. There were traffic cones and lights all around it.
It was nearby a manhole so I think the pavement may have been eroded away into the storm sewers. Just plain nuts!
By my estimation it was round and about 4 feet in diameter... no idea how deep... but very.
