Default A question for all the RV'ers

so camping season, er rving season is upon us.
time to pull the unit out of storage.
this year I want to hookup two batteries in our unit.
I have two cables that will run between the batteries.
my question is, do you run the cables from negative to negative and positive to positive, or do you go negative to positive and positive to negative?
any electrical engineers out there??

You'll want them connected in parallel: Positive to positive, negative to negative. If you run neg-pos and pos-neg, you'll be short-circuiting the batteries and likely cause an explosion or fire.

Or if you connect them is series, you'll end up with 24 volts instead of 12.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
