While reading anything on internet message boards I am truely astounded by the improper use of words, spelling mistakes and all around sillyness. Hey, I'm far from perfect, but christ go read a book or something.

Correct anyone and you get yelled at for being an a-hole.

Um...even if you accept that as true in all cases (which it isn't), that pertains only to letter arrangement, not spelling. If you put the wrong letters in, it doesn't work.

Perhaps the dean is the English instructor as well, considering the poor grammar in the student's quotes.

Most grammatical errors are forgivable. The ones that make a post unbearable to read have multiple misuses of 'your/you're' and 'there/their/they're'. IMO

The one's that really bother me are "loose" and "lose". People on sports forums just can't seem to use the right word. How many times do you guys read about a team "loosing" another game. I mean come on!!!
