http://cs.calgarystampede.com/entert...oke_stage.html
I'm getting old - I don't recognize a lot of the names. Maybe I'll catch Sloan for the heck of it.

Wow, not one band that I would cross the street to see.

LIVE!
I have been waiting 10 years+ to see this band. They are way past thier primes, but I have to hear Lightning crashes live before I die.

I've heard that Live sucks live. Which strikes me as funny. I wouldn't stand up miles away from the stage to catch a distant glimpse of any of them, but a few acts I might hang around the beer gardens to hear for a bit. I find the sound at the coke stage usually sucks unless you're right in front of the stage.

ROFL, Good Charlotte. Note to self: Avoid stampede on Tuesday July the 10th.
Nashville North has Trooper on July 11th.

I wouldn't mind seeing Three Days Grace for... the 5th time.

Totally the opposite, they are a great live band, I've seen them twice. Both great shows.

I thought Blue October and Good Charlotte would have been able to pack the Dome if you put them on the same bill.
Too bad no OLP this year... but I may try and check out LIVE... I'm in the same boat that hearing their stuff in person would be cool...
I guess that's what people are thinking by going and seeing Loverboy at Chinook.

They all suck IMO. but Good Charlotte seems like a pretty big act for the coke stage. That will be busy.

I didn't notice Tom Cochrane - now there's someone I'd go see in a heartbeat. One good song after another.

Well, once again a bunch of b-list acts for a b-list event.
I wish the Stampede would think big, and make the music portion of their event truly international level.

I'm 22 and I dont think I will go and see any of those acts.
Possibly Sloan...
I might go see trooper @ Nashville North though.
I don't know any other songs of theirs other than "raise a lil hell" though.

Tom Cochrane, July 14. Pencil me in. He's the only worthwhile act.

C'mon man, Bon Jovi is playing the Saddledome during Stampede! What more could you possibly want?
