Default avi to dvd

I've got a bunch of .avi movies I'd like to burn/convert to dvd. Can you recommend the easiest program to do this with? Thx.

i use the divx player. Works well for me.

ConvertXtoDVD but it's not free.

Many howto's using paid and free software, forums, ratings on video products, and so on.

Somebody recommended DVD Flick awhile back and it's what I've been using. Also free.

convertx is decent. Cucusoft is good as well.

What do you use for burning DVDs? Sometimes those suites have this type of thing included.

I know Nero does, but I bought the suite; I don't know if the slimmed down version you get with a drive includes that software.

I've never burned dvds before. The computer has rhapsody and roxio on it. I messed around with it a bit, but cant seem to get anywhere. I was just hoping there was an easier program to use.
