Was going to jump on it, but can get a 500GB HDD and an external enclosure, but you can get a bare drive and an enclosure for the same from Memory Express, then you can get a drive where you know the brand and warranty.

Still a good price for it though.

Not that great, a 500GB drive is only $160 or so. You can get enclosures for $30. Then you'll have separate warranties and support for both. Most OEM harddrives you buy separately have 3-5 year warranties.
