Wild advance and will need the rest with Cullen and Gonchar both going down.
Thanks for the series HD.

Congrats to the Wild on advancing. Good job with Phoenix though drunk. Wowza, double ot in one game.

Edit: Thrashers now healthy for round 2 as Lang is 100% after 3 days rest.

Congrats to the Wild on advancing. Stars with just 16 shots on goal. Nucks on the verge of an upset and those Oilers are one win away from proving me wrong.

I sent in my lines too late. I was just swamped all day at work. This loss falls on GM Shah.

It maybe time for Antero to start in goal, and a Sedin reunion on the first line.

Well I'll be interested to see Drunks excuses for this one. I'm guessing commissioner and SIM will be brought up.

Congrats to the Wild on advancing with the Caps and Thrashers.

Flames lose game 1....CPHL Yotes bow out.......just break my heart now!

Grant, I'd shake your hand, but I'm afraid I'd freaking break it off.

04:26, M. SUNDIN COY (ELBOWING, Double Minor, Game Misconduct) 12:15

What the hell kind of "elbow" was that?
PP in the series:
Yotes 3 for 20 (15%)
Wild 3 for 37 (8.1%)

Mick Magoo wins the series!

The Coyotes have filed an official complaint with League officials. Not that Grant won't bury them.

Martin Biron had an outstanding game this evening. He took charge and his team responded in the third period to come out with the win. Also, thanks to the commishes who dealt with my line drama. It's appreciated!

I also blame really bad excuses for moderators......

They will still be one win away from proving you wrong after game 7!

The Hawks missed Brad Richards in this game. His hair has recovered and he will be ready to go for game 6.

Roberts in double OT

Experience shows through in the play-offs as Gary Roberts puts the Hawks backs to the wall as he gave the Oil the advantage in the series 3 games to 2. Brodeur stops all 7 shots in OT earning his 3rd win of the play-offs.

Greasers within 1 win of moving on to the second round.

We expect to see all the Hawks have to offer on Saturday night. But can the Hawks beat Martin Brodeur two games in a row?

Game 6 back in Chicago ............. but a ticket, should be a good one!

Avs' backs are against the wall now. Another chippy affair and another injury, with 'iron-man' Karlis Skrastins going down in the third. This game featured a third period meltdown.

It'll be difficult to regroup from this one - we'll see what the Avs are made of.

On a positive note, Blake and Leclair are expected to play in Game 6.
