These playoffs are sure off to a nasty start after a pretty tame season in terms of injuries. The boys are out for blood!

Fun times today. Although the Canucks pull back to the series, it was a nasty game. The trainers will asses the injuries and make a statement at that time.

Hmmm good thing the CPHL version of Alexei Kovalev actually shows up in big games as opposed to the NHL version.

Boo!!!!

The sim hates me, this is the only Howe series not tied up.

I can't stay out of the penalty box! Who said today was an afternoon game? I would have iced a different lineup!

At least
Langenbrunner & Handzus showed up with 2 points each. 3 shots on net in the 2nd period is just unacceptable. Cujo does not get the blame, he has been peppered this series.

GM Drunk guarantees a win next game!

Grant and his band of male prostitutes are lucky to have the CPHL commissioner's office in their pocket.

Avs go pretty much injury-free during the regular season but it's catching up to them now. This is turning into a really ugly affair with Vancouver.

High sticking majors, boarding, elbowing, spearing, roughing, unsportsmanlike conduct...this game had all the nasty stuff. Avs gave up a third period lead and that could spell trouble with this series now tied up at two games a piece.

Hopefully, Leclair and Blake can get back in the lineup for game 5. Avs really blew an opportunity tonight to take a stranglehold on this series and get some rest before Round 2. Now, it appears whichever team emerges from this series is going to be pretty banged up heading into the second round.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Back to La la land tied at 2.

I was hoping to take it back 3-1, but I am still happy where I am.

Hawks tie the series 2-2. Bittersweet win as both Paul Ranger and Brad Richards are injured in the frey. Both players are undergoing evaluation and the extent of the injuries will be known sometime tomorrow.

It is thought that Richards is suffering from a bad hair cut and a trip to the Man Salon will have him ready to go for game 5

Damn you HD! You made me look at that friggen tree!

Now I must overcome this bad luck omen by having Richards get a conditioning treatment while he is at the Man Salon. Do you have any idea how much that is going to cost the Hawks? Just look at that mess of hair!!
