Cassie Campbell Street Hockey Tournament

Hockey Players,

I am the Ref In Chief for the Cassie Campbell Street Hockey Tournament, that will be held on Friday April 27th (men's tournament) and Saturday April 28th (youth tournament).

I am looking for some knowledgeable hockey players that would like to try their hand at officiating some games during this tournament.

This tournament is held in support of the Ronald McDonald House which provides support to families with children who are not well enough to even play this great game.

Your donation of time would be greatly appreciated.

Let's show Calgary that the hockey community in Calgary is truly caring and compassionate people and are willing to do their part for a great cause.

I'm no way connected to the board (as in ownership, moderation, etc etc), but can't say I really think that this is conventional "spam" halifaxdrunk. To me it seems like a pretty good cause (I'm not in Alberta so can't volunteer), not your "buy this phone card that is normally $500 but just if you e-mail me $250 I will send it in the mail to you I promise" type of spam.

Well, I actually posted this when he stared it in the CPHL message board. It was then moved to here.

For the Calgary Puck Hockey League I'd consider it Spam, for "Off topic board" not so much.

Well it was initially placed somewhere else, and was moved here. Since the first and foremost thing being asked for is someone to give their time to the cause we'll permit the thread.

But HD is a jerk, and no doubt he'll find a blue square in his inbox, as well as big L in his playoff game tommorrow.

Well everyone else wanted to go to the pub on Thursday and none of them has a cordless laptop so they went for an OOT guy. My instructions were ban and lock if mutiny occurs.
