Default Source of carpet tiles?

I'm trying to find a bunch of carpet tiles for my son's Rokenbok play area. The RC cars don't drive very well on the thick berber carpet we have, and I thought I could somehow easily tile an area for when we play with the Rokenbok. The fabric surface needs to be fairly thin (like a felt or something) but yet durable.

Apparently this is not as easy as I envisioned. I've tried Revy and Home Depot, but all they have is either linoleum tiles or 6'x8' sections of thin carpet, neither of which is really acceptable.

Can CP advise of any solutions?
