Because of a lengthy illness, before my dad passed away he had the chance to make his own funeral arrangements, including how his remains would be handled. He (jokingly) suggested that we cremate him and put his ashes in a snow-globe, set it on the mantle, and "just give him a shake once and a while". A little macabre I suppose, but I appreciated his humour up until the end.

Ooops...looks like Keith's comments were taken out of context.
http://www.tmz.com/
Just hours after the Internet lit up with his claim that he'd snorted the ashes of his own father mixed with cocaine, his manager told MTV News that, sadly, it wasn't true. According to Jane Rose in an e-mail message, Richard's dad-ingesting comment was, "Said in jest ... Can't believe anyone took [it] seriously."
He looks like a walking corpse! It's beyond me how someone that has done so much drugs and drinking can still be alive...insane.

He is proof that Mr. Garrison was wrong. Can't wait to see the new Pirates movie with 'Keef' as Sparrow Snr.

Slightly OT, but still related to Keith, I remember hearing a year to two back that he fell out of a palm tree somewhere and landed on his head. He was quick to assure everyone that he was fine and had not sustained any neurological damage. My question is, with a baseline like Keith's, how would anyone know whether he suffered neuological damage or not?

His publicist says it was a joke.
