Kiprusoff OUT?

In an unfortunate stroke of fate, Miikka Kiprusoff twisted his ankle getting out of his Toyota Prius after arriving home Saturday night. "Kippers heard a snap as soon as it happened. When I heard that, I knew we were in trouble..." relayed the downtrodden Flames GM Darryl Sutter.

In a deal that saw Kiprusoff having an exclusive endorsement contract with the European fashion shoe giant "Retro Future Fashion". The deal estimated to be worth $215,000 US seems to have cost the Calgary Flames their number one goalie for the rest of the season. The Flames team doctor released this statement early Sunday morning, "...He should make a full recovery after the operation but only time will tell." He further went on to say, "Men just aren't meant to wear heals".
