I dunno maybe it seemed that way because it was sped up but to me it looked like he drove like you were suppose to, if he wasnt passing people he went back in the right lane. I wish more people around here would drive like that, its one of the few things i enjoyed about driving in the states. When people are going the same speed as everyone they would leave the fast lane open for passing.

Yep. Thats how you should drive.

Thats an awesome vid!
At first I was thinking this video is going a little slow to make it there in 3 minutes, then we got to the traffic light and I remembered that were listening to a techno song.
I'm not really a fan of techno too much, but i could see that song pumping me up, anyone know what it is?

I was just referring to him passing in the right lane. I agree that slow drivers in the left lane are extremely annoying.

Yeah but I think within the hours drive he only passed 2 cars in the right lane, and those guys hes passing are likely just the extremely annoying drivers you refer to.

Once they eliminate that light at Stoney, it should shave 15 seconds off his drive!

If you wanted to do that in real life, you would have to drive at around 2600 km/hour.

That's a pricey ticket.

That's a fast cop.

I did a video like this through Roger's pass. I think I might do a hwy 93 one as well.

Its too bad the weather was crappy... people who have never seen that drive missed all the beautiful scenery before getting into the mountains... and even once in the mountains, it was crap weather..

oh well, still a pretty damn cool video.

Do one of either the 36 or the 41. You could market it as a cure for insomnia.

I thought the weather aspect of the video was neat. It was interesting seeing how the weather so greatly fluctuates in a 1 hr drive. At one point, the driver needed his wipers on full speed due to the rain while at other times he didn't even have them running. It's a true testament to our daily hassels with the weather here in Calgary.

I agree the mountains should be experienced on a Sunday day. Walking around in Banff during the rain isn't the best experience...

I just seems sped up a lot.

I was expecting a slightly different video, something similar to this moron:

Haha...

This is my old neighborhood. Starts of on St John's blvd near Fairview mall and then west onto the 40 for those of you who know Montreal.

The thing that would have made that video complete would be to have an ending where the guy gets pulled from his car and gets the living piss beat out of him by an angry motorist with a tire iron.

That's a pretty long drive to get to a Petro Canada.

I would think he could find a gas station job a little closer to home.
