Default How to cut a Flames logo in a beard? (Or, how to win a beard growing competition)

We're having a beard competition at work and tomorrow is the judgement day.. I have a good thick beard going and was thinking of cutting off half of it but leaving a Flames logo.

Without going freehand (one slip and it's all wrecked), any ideas on how to accomplish this?

Or any other ideas on how to shave it to win? It's all maybe an inch long.

Get drunk and do it. I shaved a hawk in my chest hair a few weeks ago, and it turned out awesome. I even forgot it as there the next morning and went out for gatorade, sans shirt. I shaved the rough outline, then used mascara to trace the rest. Rub lots of cream on your face, then let most of it drip off so you can see your outline.

I'm gonna go as a Tbird for halloween, once I figure out how to make a spoiler!

I was trying to think how to do it though and get a good outline but still leave the hair nice and long.

Maybe draw it on my face first then shave it? I've got some of those clippers they use in hair salons. It's pretty thick though, I can't see my skin at all.

Hmmm...

Print out a flames logo of appropriate size on some photo paper

Cut out the logo and discard

Attach sheet of paper with logo shaped hole to your face and secure firmly.

Spray beard with hydrogyn peroxide until you have a blonde Flames logo in your beard.

Shave blonde areas or leave it blonde.

I'd hate to see the forest in your pants right now. There's no way that can be done if you trim at all on a regular basis. My condolances to your wife.

hm, never thought to colour it! Maybe get some of that red temporary colour hair spray!

I was thinking to shave away the excess so that the only thing left was a hairy "C"

I'd need a few more months to get an epic beard like that.. though it would have won hands down!

i vote for coloring it. less chance of you botching the entire job. plus if you do botch the coloring job, you can just dye the whole beard red.. or bleach or whatever.

A hairy, flaming "C" would look pretty funny right in the middle of your neck. You could do horse heads on your cheeks and shave a number 12 in the back of your head. You clould call yourself jersey face.

It was too difficult to do, so I just went with the standard creepy biker chops look. Still went over very well, I like my chances.

Too-late thought Dept.

Buy a 'frosting' High-Lites kit. Stencil a Flaming C on to the multi-holed shower cap thingy. Painfully pull the encroaching beard hair through the perimeter of the 'C'. Have some one shave the remaing beard under the cap, leaving the pulled through hairs untouched. It might've gotten a little tricky shaving the inside of the 'C', though.*

* I only know of these kits from hear-say
