Sad news. Truth be told I had wondered from time to time what happened to him....hadn't seen him on the show in a very long time and it occured to me he may have passed on.

A huge part of Letterman's early days.

Little remembered factoid . . . . his cowboy turn as a dancing, vastly over-dressed, hunk in a Vince Gill country music video, "What The Cowgirls Do," in the late 1990's.
