Default Vegreville hospital closes doors...

to new patients due to dirty tools.

The Alberta government is appointing a special management board to oversee a Vegreville hospital that has closed to new admissions amid problems with a bacteria-resistant superbug and the discovery that dirty tools were being used in surgeries.
Health Minister Dave Han announced the unusual move today as he ordered an investigation into St. Joseph’s General Hospital, including how its improper sterilization practices that were ordered stopped in mid-February were still ongoing a month later.

Its hard to imagine that they hospital continued to do improper sterilization a month after they were asked to stop. I can only imagine how many lawsuits that might come because of this.
