I got a brand new laptop this weekend so its time to move the old one. It's 3 1/2 years old now but it could be good for anyone looking to run smaller programs. Some specs below.

Model: Inspiron 600m
1.3 Ghz Processor
1 GB RAM
23 (ish) GB Hard Drive
Windows XP

Can you hook an external mouse to it? I may be interested in it for the kids but they hat the little finger cursors on laptops.

Yes there are two USB ports where you can plug in a mouse. It also has the touchpad.
