GM Noops has traded the teams top Defenseman, Lubo Visnovsky, in a 5 player deal to the Ducks. In return the Flyers acquire a top 6 winger in Marco Sturm, a promising young player in Dustin Brown, and superstud prospect Cody Franson.
GM Noops cited that the trade was made to acquire younger and cheaper depth,and to also save cap room for a potential ufa signing.
