Hi, my name is Mario, born in northern Ontario and currently lives in LA. I watch most of the games through the Center Ice package and would like to meet fellow Flames fan who live in the area.

I'm in the LA area. I watch the games on Center Ice. I also travel to Anaheim or Phoenix where my road jersey is acceptable.

I think there's a poster who goes by the handle "LA Flames Fan" as well--I'd guess he's an interested party.

I'm currently living in Iowa, as my handle indicates (very few other Flames fans here, I'm sad to report...), but I'll be in the LA area for the next week or so--a little to the north actually, in Ventura, CA. My wife and I are looking for fun stuff to do while she's there on a conference--if any of you who know the area have some ideas, I'd love to hear them.

He no longer resides in California, he moved back to Calgary.

I live in Ventura County - as mentioned your right by the beach. Ventura and the surrounding cities are kind of "small town" and cater mostly to beach activites.
Some nice restaurants at the Ventura Pier, and its right beside C-Street, a top surf spot in the county.
Santa Barbara is about 20 minutes away - it's my favorite city to visit - if you will be there on a Sunday there is a great Art Walk along the beach

Whale watching trip out of Ventura Harbor is cool - costs about $30 a person.

Lots of Wine tasting tours in Santa Barbara and surrounding communities.

Main Street in Ventura is great for walking around checking out all the crazy little shops.

Thanks for reading my post. I've been in LA for awhile and still can't get used to these high 90 degrees like today. I'd like to meet Flames fans in LA at a location where we could all get together shortly. I'm in the Pasadena area. How about you? We could meet in the downtown area near Staples Center or Long Beach....suggestions?

If the Flames meet the ducks in the playoffs, Honda Center would be a perfect place to meet up!

Meeting at Honda Center next month could work. Where do you guys live? Which day is good to meet? Let's figure out where people are and find a place to meet. It would be great to meet LA Flames fans now, late in the season and with playoff approaching.

BTW, who else is surprised at shootout win again?
