Who's a nomad here? How many places have you lived?
I'm not a life long anything as 10 years is the longest I've spent anywhere before picking up and moving on. Got it from my parents who moved around a bit.
I've had fixed addresses in the following places for at least over a year.
Williams Lake BC
Fort McMuarray AB
Medicine Hat AB
Cranbrook BC
Kamloops BC
Prince George BC
Sylvan Lake AB
St.Albert AB
And am looking at moving again later on this year
I never did an extended travelling thing like a year, but in hindsight sort of wish I'd taken a year to go to Australia/New Zealand, and another one to go to Europe as opposed to the 1-2 month things I did. If I get my way I'll also go retire in a place like Ecuador if it's still cheap compared to North America.
Who else has lived in like 5 different places or cities? Has to be quite a few, and a few who lived in really cool places.

Here are the places I've lived since moving away at 18:
Belleville
Toronto
Belleville
Toronto
Timmins
Toronto
Calgary (four addresses)
Toronto
Brooklin (North of Whitby)
Seems like I'm always moving and there's nothing I hate more. Staying put for a while now.

Richmond, Vancouver, and Burnaby are the same thing!!!! Thats like me saying Edmonton, Sherwood Park and St. Albert even though I never moved more than 20 miles at a time.
Yeah, I'm bad for moving in city too Jam, I had like 6 addresses in PG in 5 years there, 4 during my time in Sylvan Lake. At least now that I'm a home owner I tend to live in the house when I change locations.

A real eye opener; when you go to request your own credit report they ask for each of your addresses over the last 5 years. They didn't have enough lines on the form for me. When I used to rent I would move a lot.
For cities for me:
Winnipeg
Dryden, On
Calgary
Grande Prairie

Košice. I was born there and have lots of family there still, but also lived in Rimavská Sobota for a few short years before we left the country.

Vancouver, BC
5 different cities in India (incl. Jaipur, Jodhpur, Delhi)
Birmingham, UK
London, UK
Munich, Germany
Toronto, Ont
Thompson, Man
Regina, SK
Ottawa, Ont
Calgary, AB
All in all, I have had 38 different "permanent" addresses that
were longer than 4 months. (my mother OTOH has had 65,
my father 48, and since they were married, they have moved
all the way around the world. They started in Vancouver, and
now live 2.5 hours directly south in Seattle, travelling westward
all the way.)
Another interesting tidbit, when I was 13, in Regina, I finally
moved houses in which I got to keep the same school and
all the same friends. My father recalls the confusion I had
about not having to start all over...
