...they have different perceptions of reality. I found this interesting:

More than 70% of Bush supporters in this poll believe that there exists evidence than Saddam Hussein helped al Qaeda and had WMD.

I agree that the information provided about WMD before the invasion was false, and its been admitted as such since. So I am surprised so many still cling to that particular belief. However, Iraq DID have WMD at one time, thats just a fact. Maybe folks get the two confused, Im not sure.

As for the whole Hussein helped Al-Queada, its a nefarious link at best, and not one that has ever been proven.

Again though, if you are too lump terrorists and Al-Queda together, I can see where people come to that conclusion. Hussein himself was a terrorist, as was a guy he gave help and refuge too in Abu Nidal. Though niether is a member of Al Queda, they still represent the whole ideal of what many perceive terrorists to be. Mainly, the enemy. There is a distinction between the two, and i have to believe that most Bush supporters just dont make it.

Boost your ego a little more?

I agree with what Tranny said.....I'd bet a good portion of those on your guys' side of the fence would say that Saddam never had WMD at all.

Equally stupid.
