Spruce Beer
Anywhere in town you can buy this stuff?
That's one thing I miss from my trips out East, every restaurant and corner store in Quebec had the Crush brand.
Maybe some Montreal smoked meat joints have it available?

Haven't seen it here...
I had it when I lived in Montreal...I don't understand the premise...who wants to drink something that tastes like trees?

I've seen some different kinds of pops at IGA, but I can't remember if it was spruce beer or birch beer.

Me. I love that stuff. I used to bring back four or five 2L bottles.
IGA? Never know! Next time I'm close to one I'll check it out.

They sell Spruce Beer at 'Alberta King of Subs'. It's a Montreal smoked meat place around 52 street and Temple Drive in the Northeast.

You can also get Spruce Beer at the Calgary Farmer's Market (there's a stall there specializing in Quebec products). You can't get the really good stuff here though - apparently the bottles have a tendency to explode when shipped in crates.
