The Calgary Hitmen today have acquired 18-year-old Defenceman Tyler Harder from the Brandon Wheat Kings for a 6th Round Pick in the 2005 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
The 6’2”, 203 pound Defenceman from Steinbach Manitoba, played last season in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League with the Dauphin Kings. Harder is expected to be in the lineup this weekend as the Hitmen travel to Red Deer to face the Rebels on Saturday, and host the Prince Albert Raiders in Calgary at the Pengrowth Saddledome at 5pm on Sunday.
