A little girl holds off a dingo going for her even younger sister on a small Australian island.

OK, now this whole ordeal is TOTALLY misleading. I've been to Fraser Island, and due to the large amounts of tourists that are constantly feeding these dogs they are extremely tame. I actually had one drinking out of a water bottle while we were waiting for the ferry to get back to the mainland. They are more of a nuisance, as they will walk right up to you and try to swipe your lunch or your shoes to chew on.

Just because a dingo was scavenging for food in a hotel room does not mean it was going to go for the baby on the bed. In my experience, they are much more willing to pick up a camera case and run off with it than they are to go after small children.

It was a nice touch showing a dingo "baring its teeth" in the article as well........all ferocious looking when in actual fact the thing is probably yawning.
