Looking for a family doctor in NW Calgary

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of trying to find a doctor here in Calgary (NW) and the shortage is making it pretty hard to find one. I just wanted to throw it out here on CP to see if anyone here knows of a good doctor who is actually accepting patients at this time.

Failing that, I ultimately need to see a neurologist and I know that's where I'm going to end up being referred to, but I'm unsure of any way to get to a point where I could see a specialist of that sort without getting the referral to begin with.

Anyhow, just thought with the amount of people who might see this, I might increase my chance of finding some help.

I wasn't aware of that website. So far I really hadn't tried to use the internet to find a doctor, just had been calling some to find out if they were accepting patients. Thanks for the link!

It's handy to have...this pdf file actually breaks down available doctors per quadrant. It atleast gives you a starting basis. I have tried phoning some place and even within a week of the file being updated they had already filled up.

Dr.Donald at the Ranchland's Clinic(I think, its across from Crowfoot) is really good

There is a new clinic in Scenic Acres, I phoned a few days ago and there were still 3 doctors taking new patients.

My Doctor was taking new patients last time I checked.

Dr. McCabe at Valley Ridge Physicians. He's a pretty good guy and not too tough to get an appointment. Usually the same week.
