Default Trippy sidewalk art

Sorry if this is a fata, I searched and found nothing.

This has been circulating via e-mail, and it is pretty cool. This guy draws awesome chalk drawings that seemingly jump out of the sidewalk.

That's awesome. I'd like to see a video of the 2nd pic to see if everyone walks around the hole in the ground, LOL.

it would look a lot different to the people walking around it, the effect only works from a certain distance and angle. this shows it

The sidewalk art is definately cool.

Here's some examples of what they are doing to trucks.

Those are all photoshopped. Its pretty obvious. We have tried to recreate the same type of effect here at work with some limited success. The Budweiser trucks come to mind.

Guess I got fooled on that. Although I did think it was odd that the background scenery on all those pictures were the same.

Don't they do this in some soccer games? I noticed that the ad signs
on TV, on the field of play, looked like they were standing upright.
And then the players would run over them...it was how they were
painted, relative to the camera.

Yeah, I've seen that effect used in the on-field advertising at soccer and rugby games.

They had a guy at the Round-Up Centre during the Stampede a couple of years ago doing one of those chalk drawings. It looked like horses were jumping out of the ground and looked really cool.

As stated, it only works from one angle and looks strange from any other angle.
