Calgary Demographics Question

Someone brought up in one of the Mid January thread about hitting on women, dating, or some other one regarding the guy girl ratio in a certain age group being around 2:1.

I've been trying to find something that verifies this or shows what it really is but have yet to find anything.

Anyone have that info handy?

They just had something about that in the local papers and local news, maybe a week or two ago, I believe the ratio is something like 58% male, 42% female, definitely not 2/1.

The person that mentioned it in the other thread may have been me. I have since proven myself wrong though.

Here's a list showing # of female/male's in each age group. It's very close to 1:1

haha, wow, I argued with my sister based on your comments and the link you provided shows that

age 25 - 34
male 80,995
female 82,002

It's actually in favour of men

I guess something good comes from that though

So, where are they all?

Sorry about that. I did the same and argued the point until I did some more research.

I swear I did hear it on global news though. I probably misheard and were probably talking about fort mcmurray.
