Next thing you know Goober and Ellie Mae from the Ashville Citizen will endorse "the God fearing christian gentleman" from the pulpit at their local church. Will wonders never cease?

On top of that, I would be stunned silly if the local paper (Citizen-Times btw) does anything but endorse Kerry.

Well lookie here what happened in todays paper.

We encourage voters to choose optimism and give a Kerry- Edwards team the chance to turn our economy around, to make the world a safer place and to restore the promise that is America to all Americans.

So yet another government controlled mainstream media source has endorsed the challenger. Even way down here where Jethro and Ellie Mae are more than just kissin cousins.

Wow, I am shocked! I though for sure that Goober and Ellie Mae would have been with the religous right and would have gone with your hero Bush. Nice to see another paper finding the balls to call it like it is and demand that Bush be bounced. I don't think they're kissin' cousins though, I think they're brother and sister!
