RANGERS players flying to a Euro tie yesterday were stunned to find their pilot was heavy metal wildman Bruce Dickinson.


The lead singer of Iron Maiden was behind the controls of the official team charter from Glasgow to Tel Aviv in Israel.


Multi-millionaire Dickinson - famed in the past for his long hair and skintight trousers - is now a fully-qualified pilot with charter firm Astraeus.
