Default Fitness Equipment

I work for a local fitness equipment store - if anyone is looking to
set up a home gym or purchase any kind of equipment (treadmill,
elliptical, bike, bowflex, etc) and wants a CP discount - or if you
want to ask any questions about what to look for in equipment, PM me.<br>

I did not see the minimum posts required until after posted - I apologize. Moderator can remove if wants.

I am a regular CP viewer and have been a member for a long time. I just don't post often.

What's a decent elliptical trainer, that needs little maintenance and works good, going to cost?

I would say to you would be looking at roughly about $2000 for a decent elliptical. From this price range up you are basically getting a reliable machine but most importantly one that has a decent motion - ie it actually feels good when you use it.

Not sure if anyone might still be interested in this. I know it's kind of that time of year (new years resolutions.....)
I have actually moved to Edmonton in the past couple of months ( don't hate me...it wasn't my first choice - one must go where the money is and the housing is cheaper). Anyways, I still work for the same company only in Edmonton - same deal applies as before.

Let me know if your are interested!

Interesting, which store? Maybe I'll PM you too,

I just bought an Olympic bar, 45 lbs, and a few 35 lbs plates. Enough to throw around doing some cleans/lunges, etc. could use a few 45's then the total still is a bit shy of what I'd do for squats/bench, but I don't have a real bench.. or rack, so... actually I guess... I can only really use two 45's since I'm not going to.. you know.. the logistics don't make sense..

Ummm what sort of discount? Maybe I could use an ez curl bar? I have dumbbells 5 - 80's which are enough.. I could use a BSOD half ball thingy.. a medicine ball, umm.. probably lots of stuff
