Default Sirius satellite radio questions

I have two questions for those in Calgary who subscribe to Sirius in Calgary

First, what dial do you use on your FM dial to get a clear signal in your vehicle. I am having issues with this lately. I used to use 95.3 but even that picks up other stations these days. If you use your radio and vehicle all over the city. I find no matter I travel my signal is interfered with in different parts of the city

Second, does anyone here use the Sirius Stiletto? I bought one to compliment the Starmate replay I already have. I got the docking station with the Stilletto so it works at home, in the car and it works great while operating in portable mode. It also works great while in the home docking station. In the truck though it seems to get crossed up in the vehicle docking station. If I hit a bump in the road the power cable seems to move and it causes a lot of static. It is secured and stays in the port, both in the adapter and the dock but it just becomes very static-y or I just lose the system although it does not lose power. Does anyone else have this problem? It doesn't seem like a manufacturer's issue and because it does work for the most part I think I would have issues trying to get warranty work done on it.

Thanks in advance

The new goggles also do nothing.

I use 102.5 for my mp3 player, seems pretty good.

1 - http://siriuscanada.ca/en/install/frequency.aspx
I always used 107.9 and had no problems...

2- I dont have thatmodel, but I did get some static, depending on where I mounted it. You may just want to secure everything, or try a new location...

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

107.9 ftw. Higher you go, the better the reception. Sounds like you might just need a new dock for your truck if it works in all the other docks.

i had it professionally installed with an Aux cable, and mine has horrible reception even that way , and my aux cables male end is too long ( insert joke here) but you cant put the thing in all the way or it shuts off so it has to hang out a lil bit, eventually it slips out and i have wiggle it back in , then it comes out again and i have to repeat th eprocess

I have mine set to 107.9, it seems a few on here do. Never really had a problem, sometime you can hear someone elses start to come in, but its pretty rare.

Get the antenna cord that plugs right into the antenna jack in the back of your deck. You'll never have any issues. It'll override 92.1 if you want it to.

I've not had issues with static or things coming unplugged. My Stiletto works awesome everywhere. The unit itself can be finnicky at times though... in fact I've already had to return one because it just stopped receiving the signal.
