I've been playing around on Google Earth and found some neat things. If you have google earth on your computer just copy and paste the coordinates into Google Earth and hit "Search". If anyone else has any unique places to look at just post the coordinates.

I have it on my home computer and it works fine but when I downloaded it to my work computer there are no details on the earth. It just appears as a large white ball with the land outlined in yellow. What gives?

Bombing target near Holloman AFB from WWII.
(In early 1941, a target was constructed as a scale model of the German battleship Bismarck, and was made of dirt with wooden logs for the gun turrets. This was built to train pilots from the Royal Air Force in identifying the famous battleship at night. However, the Bismarck was sunk in May 1941 — before the "adobe" Bismarck saw much use. It is still there today.)
