I know one in the SE, Thai Thai's in Deerfoot meadows. I know that doesn't help you, but maybe someone else in the south might be interested.

Aw man, that's all the way downtown. I don't want one that bad!
EDIT: Plus trying to find parking.

There is a Viet noodle house in the strip mall north across from Westbrook Mall. Maybe they have the subs?

Hm, I'll check it out. Are they good food otherwise? (Have only found one good Viet restaurant near our work so far as well)

It's across from Boston Pizza near Cash Converters. I love their Curried Beef stir fry on rice... light your ass up though.

That location sucks. My friend runs the one down on 17th AVE SW. Much better.
Thi Thi Subs just opened in McKenzie(130th AVE SE). It's just as good as the Chinatown location. Now I don't have to go so far when I have a craving.
That tiny Pho shop on Bow Trail across from Westbrook Mall is pretty good. Anyone who lives near there should check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Pho Huong Viet is the name, the owner is awesome, really friendly. Remembers my favorite when I walk in the door.
