Avs, Sharks make minor deal
The Colorado Avalanche have swapped impending UFA Steve Rucchin to San Jose for impending UFA defenceman Luke Richardson.
The Avs had too many centers and the 76 OV Rucchin did not deserve to be watching from the press box. Adding Richardson helps fill a void at D left following the Yashin trade.
Now, the Avs are planning on staying put and letting this team gel down the stretch - provided they remain competitive in the Howe.
