Anyone still watching him? Hes within a couple hundred thousand of breaking the alltime winnings record for a game show I guess. Seems like summer and that tournament of champions kinda killed the momentum.
Oh, and Hockey was a catageory tonight.

I dunno, those are pretty difficult. They should be the million dollar question on Who Wants to Be A Millionaire.

I was watching him, untill I read somewhere of how much money he made the number of consecutives win he had. Kind of looses the luster after that. Which is why I am not telling.

Ken's run is coming to an end....no one can continue forever in that format. What he has done is absolutely incredible though.

Why do they no longer tell how many consecutive wins he has? I watched it last night and they told how much cash he had won, but didn't menton anything about number of wins...does anyone know why they quit mentioning it, and does anyone know what the number is?

I know the total number of wins he gets. But as of last night, no I don't know how many he had.

Ken seemed to know that Bryan Trottier won a bunch of Cups with "New York" but then guessed "Rangers." The worst part is that no one got it even after he got Rangers wrong.

The worst part is that Ken said New York, and then Alex told him to be more specific and *then* he said Rangers (which was wrong).
So to get it right all you would have to do is name the other team from New York, but the two other contestants couldn't even do that. Sad. I mean I know nothing about the NFL, say, but if someone names a city I can at least come up with the corresponding team name.

It's almost boring to watch now. The newer contestants can't buzz in as quickly, even if they do know the answer. But no matter how good or smart you are, there's usually someone who can beat you, it's only a matter of time.

Anyone know what Ken's winnings are at?
And what the alltime record for winnings on a gameshow is?

I know Ken's at 1,970,000 or so. Not sure what the record is.

I wonder if the producers of Jeopardy are getting to the point where they're starting to make him pay for his own Hotel room. I've probably watched about 20 or so episodes that he's won, and everytime he basically has the thing won before they even get to Double Jeopardy. I haven't seen one episode where he didn't have the thing won at final Jeopardy. One guy challenged him for 5 minutes and than he was blown out too.

I watched one episode last week where mathematically he could have lost. He did, however get the final question right, and wagered enough to win it by $1. It didn't really matter though, the guy in second bet the farm and got the question wrong.
Wasn't he supposed to lose at around 1.4 according to the spoilers?

I just saw on Si.com that Ken has won $1,936,300.
Also, they mention that he is from Long Island. Man its funny how smart the guy is and the one question about which team Trottier lead to four stanley cups he messes up.

If he's from Long Island I wonder how long he actually lived there. Currently he's from Salt Lake City Utah, and he is a morman. Last I knew Salt Lake City was the place to be if you are morman. I've never heard how long he's been living in Utah, but I'm guessing he'd be about the age where the hometown Islanders would have been winning Stanley Cups if he was living there as a kid. I'll admit I've maybe seen two episodes since Septemeber so I'm sure someone has challenged him a couple times. I also heard rumours that he walked after 75 shows and 2 or 2.5 million in winnings. Maybe he can go to med school with his winnings and cure cancer.
