Apparently someone put three loonies under the Cards bench tonight. They asked Larry Walker about it, and he said he hadnt seen them, but Steve Kline did.

Why would an american team use Canadian currency for good luck?

3 Calgary guys put them under the bench on a tour of Busch Stadium. They did it for Larry Walker

I don't mind the whole loonie thing for good luck. Let Canadian players do it if they want...it's becoming a bit of a tradition.
What I don't like is all the stupid publicity. It was cool in Salt Lake, interesting during the world championships...now it's just annoying hearing loonie this, loonie that. Let the players or whoever get their good luck silently
