Default Remember those "If it snows" Ads from Eastside Dodge?

Eastside Dodge (or should I say their insurance company) may have some paying up to do. The January 17th date was engraved in my mind from the amount of times I heard it on the radio. There's easily 3 inches of snow in parts of the city. Should be a victory for the little guys for once.

Too bad Dodge vehicles are horrible.

there wasn't any snow where I lived but when I dropped my wife up north by Barlow and 32nd there was at least 3 inches. How much did it have to snow there?

They probably take it from the airport reading. I had about 3 inches on my truck that I swept off this morning, and another dusting was on it when I went out for lunch.

How much snow was needed?

I don't think those 280 people who bought cars there that day will let them cheat their way out of it.

So far all I found was this... http://theweathernetwork.com/feature...ges/snowAB.htm
It says only about 6cm of snow at the Airport.... and COP only say 5cm of new snow at the hill. Gonna be tight

In trying to find the observed snowfall for today, one weather site that I know of (http://wx.ca) shows that there was one lighting strike today in the city of calgary. Kind of weird.. you don't expect lightning strikes with snow.

Anyway, back on topic, What would really suck is if for the total snowfall for today was 7.61 cm which is 1cm less than the required to equal 3 inches.
Hopefully they win though. Might making having to drive a dodge for the next couple years worth it

According to Environment Canada we got 3 cm, not 3 inches.
http://weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca/city/p..._metric_e.html

It does say 3mm, but if you click on their link they say that they use the water amount, and 3mm equals 3 cm of snow.

That is a great site. In the FAQ they say
