The seldom seen, once (still?) integral Scottish member of the CP family that, way back when, was the technician extrorndinarre in allowing the old skool CP to be chewing up bandwidth back in the day, turns 33 today.

In similar milestones, 5 years today, and 10,210 posts later I found CP.
A much simpler time..found when searching the web for Flames pics we could put on to Tshirts for the Oilers game up in Edmonton next week.
Back then, it took a full two days for topics to be bumped off the first page. Chatroom was busy after games, the 20 or so regulars, most still around in various forms, still had the spats, but were forced to present well structured arguments and posts. It allowed decent hockey talk, and prevented garbage posts and posters who contributed little to nothing, from clogging that talk up.
A great ride...changed my internet experience, and, increased my passion for my home town Flames.
