First Gonchar, then Smyth, then Spezza, now Koivu!! The Pens can't last more then a game without aan injury to their top players....And all these injurys have been for at least a week, With Gonchar being gone for 18 games, Ryan Smyth for the year....WTH...The sim hates the Pens!!

Welcome to Winnipeg Johan!

Johan Hedberg made 27 saves in his Jet debute and helped the Jets beat the Kittens 2-1 on Friday night. The Jets scored 2 goals in 8 seconds early in the first period and then held on the rest of the way. Nick Dimitrakos and Kurt Sauer scored for the Jets while Marek Zidlicky scored the lone goal for Florida.

Leafs win second in a row and 3rd out of the last 4. As Syl pointed out, the playoffs are probably out of reach. But it'd be nice if this team played to it's potential for the rest of the year.

Well the Wings lost again. Nothing new there but Sundin, Ruzinsky and Tarnquist all injured in the game for the Yotes. All out for atleast a week id say.

Well bad result for the Jackets. Didn't play that bad a game getting 20 third period shots but our second rate goaltending, was well...third rate. Jeff Drouin Deslauriers proves how awesome he is allowing 1 goal on 2 shots in like 11 minutes of play. Miro Satan collects his token assist and now has points in 15 straight games. Regroup time for tommorrow's game.

Avs back on track with their fourth consecutive win. They seem to have the Pens' number this year. It was a close game though and Huet can be credited with the win. Moreau took Koivu out of the game with a high-stick. Two assists by Conroy and an OT winner by Brylin are the notable stats.

Canadiens win two in a row gaining a bit of ground on the league leaders. However, with 5 clubs all within 5 points with equal games played the season looks to have an exciting finish.

The injury gods suck! They don't want us in the playoffs, thats now 5 starters not at 100% (I know I'm not alone in this).

At least the Yotes got the victory and jump back into 8th (for now). Good games by Vrbata and Sykora (each with a 3 point night).

On to play the Nordiques tomorrow.

Flames 3 Bruins 5

Well we played a better game against the Bruins but still came up short.

Brent Krahn got his first start as a Flame and saw what action will be like in the CPHL.

although not a stellar performance, we knew that Brent was gonna be in tough, but we are happy with his play and know that he willcontinue to improve.

Richie Regehr also got his first start and helped out on one of the goals.
Richie will most likely stay with the big club now.

Goalie Statistics

Brent Krahn (FLA), 27 saves out of 32 shots, L, 0-1-0
Miikka Kiprusoff (FLA), 0 saves out of 0 shots
Jose Theodore (BRU), 30 saves out of 33 shots, W, 16-20-4

Power Play Conversions
FLAMES 1 for 11
BRUINS 0 for 2

Senators come up with a Solid game and Shock the Oilers. Joe and hejduk with big games. Joe with 2 goals. Hejduk with 2 goals and 2 assists. Schultz with a 3 pont game as well.

excellent game by the Senators.
