I am angry, and elated at the same time. I don't like Keith, as a Rider, but welcome him with open arms as a Colts fan.

Thank you Also. Right now my chances of coming back are 50/50. It's really up to me and the money, but you should never retire your KK jerseys. lol

It's more the "me and the money" part. To me, it shows where his head is at...while I don't blame him one bit, I would think that part of it has to do with him wanting to get to the next level, contribute, etc. as well, rather than riding the pine while he's down there.

I can't believe someone hasn't made a similar attempt to get Reynolds.

i believe he is signed through 2008, and a player can only sign a contract in the nfl if his cfl contract is in the option year(they have a month to get a contract in feb i believe) or if the contract is up. i hope reynolds stays in the red and white for a long time but you never know. it depends on the player, alot of times its dependant on how much the player cares about the money and hype of the nfl and how much they just want to play. i dont see reynolds going for it anytime soon but its still 2 years away(i think) before he even has the opportunity.

at that point, he'll be pushing 30...I doubt he'll be given another opportunity down south...I believe this would have been his option year if he didn't sign an extension. If he wanted to test the NFL waters again, he would have done so now.

Well, I think he has a good shot at contributing with the Colts. Unless the Colts draft a RB, he'll challenge DeDe Dorsey as the 3rd stringer down there - possibly 2nd if Rhodes bolts in FA'y somewhere and they don't replace. I also get the feeling they offered KK some good $$$ considering he is undrafted - I think if the situation wasn't right he would've signed a long term deal with the Riders after Feb 15.
As a Rider fan, this stings. He is/was far and away our best offensive player. Bracey shows sings of brilliance but you just don't replace a talent like KKs. Unless Austin is a genious and can somehow turn Kerry Joseph into a QB (I guess like Stamps fans hope Cortez can figure out Burris), I just don't see the Riders having alot of success on offense this year. PMO!
