Beauty and the Geek
I'm a huge fan of this show for so many reasons and was just checking to see if anyone on this forum also watches it. It has everything from hot girls to some of the best unintentional funniest moments I've seen on TV. I suggest watching it next Wednesday if you get a chance.
One of the funniest quotes from last night would have to be from Andrew practicing his comedy routine - "If you look like a limp sausage, you're going to sound like a limp sausage............. not that I know what a limp sasuage sounds like but if it made a sound..."
Any other lines stick out for those who watched it...

So, I was flipping channels, and saw a minute of it. Didn't they already have the same show...2 years ago? Exact same premise if I recall, but was it a different name?

haven't heard of or watched the show, but does anyone remember the short lived 'the critic' with jon lovitz?
some kid spary-bommed 'king dork' onto his car and he sang it as he danced with a woman,
'beauty and king dork'
jon lovitz rules.

Absolutely love the show , i hope it on air for a long time.
Just the concept of the show tells you i should be funny , but it's another thing to get the right people to make it funny. very good casting job.
IMO i want that stupid" i want to win but my partner sucks" girl she is such a b!^#&
I recommend it for anyone who can't resist a good laugh.

The best line was from one of the girls, when introducing herself to the guys:
"I'm an expert on things that I know,"...awkward silence...

"The last girl I kissed kicked me right in the wontons" said by the oriental dude. That was freaking hilarious. Or another of his quotes about his grade 12 grad night "I didnt pay $200 to eat crappy chicken by candlenight"

My roomate and I love that show!
I'm rooting for Pi and he's rooting for Scooter. Although Nate was pretty funny with his tiger shark joke.

That show is great - agreed Pi and the Wonton joke was pure TV magic.
I seem to remember the same type of show where mid season they brought in the male models mid way through and the geeks got screwed.
This show seems to have a different direction to it though.

The one guy who said he could do good impersonations of household appliances was absolute gold. A girl asked him to impersonate a blender and he went on to yell as loud as he could. Had me laughing for hours. The wontons joke was pretty funny as well.

I thought his best joke was 'Sir, I'm going to ask you a serious question. Do you know what p****y tastes like...? Because I don't...'
Priceless.

Bump. This is the first season I've watched this show and I quite like it. But I was dissapointed to see Sharee get voted off tonight. For one, she was cute as hell. But she was also pretty darn smart and actually trying to win as opposed to the others.
Not sure who I'm rooting for now.

My vote is rooting for Mario and Nadia for two reasons...
1. He has a classic Nintendo controller on his arm
2. I love girls with a great smile and her's is at the top of my list right now...
Other than that, Great show still! Hopefully Nate gets to retain his beard for the make-overs next week, but without the mullet...

I'm with you D-iddy, Nadia is sweet...
I don't know about you but I would have missed every one of the questions for the geeks...manicure? purse? fashion designer? WDF?

I just caught some of it, and I don't know if it is because I have matured finally, or if the younger generation of women are just annoying, but I cannot say that it would be worth getting to know any of the bimbo's on the show - I think that these guys can do so much better with some one that isn't a self absorbed bubble head.
I loved the fact that the 'geeks' all got along, seemed to enjoy each other's company, and the 'beauties' couldn't function socially.
There is a show on Bravo called 'The Girl Next Door' and from what I have seen, despite being very attractive physically, the girls personalities are so annoying it makes them repulsive to me.

I like this show. I caught it last week and thought it was hilarious. It is now set on my PVR to record every episode.

I agree that I am not interested in ever meeting most of the girls. However, keep in mind that this is not a dating show. It is a game show. The interesting part of this game show, is that almost every normal person could do better than either of the contestants in most of the challenges. This is part of what makes the show entertaining.
On a side note, has anyone ever caught the news broadcast after that show? I caught a bit of it last week. It is fluffy shock news that I have only ever seen mocked in other programs (e.g. Robin's job on How I Met Your Mother). Last week the first bit was about how some mysterious object fell from the sky into someone's house. It was heavier than a normal rock and there was a metor shower in the area that night, but they had a huge piece on what it could possibly be. Suggestions came in that it could be a part broken off a space ship or something along those lines. My wife and I only watched because we wanted to hear about the meteorite that they were talking about, but they only suggested that it was likely a meteorite in the last few seconds. It felt like I was watching the news that was meant for those beauties in the previous show. That was almost as funny as Beauty and the Geek.
James.

I loved the line from last night's episode, "I wonder if I'll be on the moon tomorrow" from one of the girls re: aeronautics. Hahahaha ....
