The Apprentice 6
It starts this weekend
Is anyone else still interested in this show? I am, but you can't deny that Trump has definitely jumped the shark....

You knew it was coming up because Trump exploded on (fill in the blank) just before the first episode, gaining large publicity.
Who would like to organize a pool?

I thought Season one of this show was great and really well done. Back then the main focus of the show was actually on business ideas and creativity. Since then they have gone the way of all reality shows and focused on the stupid drama between the contestants.
The task used to take 3/4 of the show followed by a short boardroom. Now the task doesn't even have much airtime at all. The boardroom takes up half the show and the other half is just showing them backstabbing and arguing with each other. I can't stand that ****.
If they got back to focusing on the business aspect of it, it would make the show watchable again. However I doubt that is going to happen.

Don't forget the 1/4 of the show devoted to corporate c***sucking...

Oh come on, I gained true appreciation of Trump after his hosting spot on Saturday Night Live. If there's anyone who really dosen't take himself that seriously its Trump.

I heard from some "Entertainment" show that this year the winner of the tasks get the suite and the losers have to stay in a tent. Sooooo there you go about focusing on the work they do and not on the reality crap.
Also I would be up for a pool.

No pool . . . . . I guess.
"Dreary ratings" for the Apprentice. "Shockingly low for a premiere!!!" it says at the bottom of the story link below
Most of this deals with the latest in the very messy Donald/Rosie/Baba Wawa slugfest, Trump obviously smelling Rosie on the barbecue and going in for the kill.
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,242549,00.html
Personally, I think Trump's latest publicity whore craze is backfiring, hence the low ratings.
I did find the home opener interesting though . . . . space cadet Frank up against a smarmy lawyer who could give Trump lessons in backstabbing.
And where did that guy get his shirts and ties . . . Don Cherry?

I am glad that dickhead was fired. It was close tho....you could see that Trump was about to fire Frank.....but Frank kept pleading and pleading.....the gears were going in trumps head....he didn't know what to do. Finally Frank shut the hell up and let that freak dig his own grave.
Frank will not be far off tho.

The show has become so gimmicky. It seems to have lost its magic and is fighting like a wounded animal to survive but I think (and hope) that this will be its last season. At least they don't try to hide their corporate advertising...I guess...it is so obvious and I feel like I am getting hit over the head with it.
Am I the only one who thinks this whole Rosie/Trump "feud" is nothing more than a pre-arranged publicity stunt to pimp The Apprentice and Rosie's new gig at The View? A month before the last Apprentice there was the whole Martha/Trump feud. Martha also happened to have a new talk show at the same time...coincidence? Maybe I should shut up or Donald will sue me. Nah...he'll be bankrupt before he could sue me.
